Paul hails from Ireland, adding real credibility to The Rum Brothers right to play Irish music (as in: "If ya not from f****** Ireland how come youse are playin' Irish moosic?").

Well, he is the real deal and as well as being Irish he can also play the 'Bull Fiddle' with great panache. He's been performing in festivals, concert halls and gutters since the 1960s and now he even works in a proper job - lecturing in World Music at DEGREE level!

Brother Paul has acquired his musical influences no only from his Irish genes but also from his world travels where he has learned to master the Sitar, Harmonium and Guitarron.

Paul has played in numerous Norfolk bands including The Renegades (Irish Trad), The Ing Ongs (Busking allstars), Earl Grey and The Fine Brews, The Phil Shannon Road Band and, in addition to the Rum Brothers, he currently performs with the Anna Mudeka Band (African Dance and funk).
