We first heard this love song on Sharon Shannon's "Black Diamond Mountain Sessions" where it is performed by Irish fiddler and singer, Dessie O'Halloran. Apparantly Dessie himself first heard it played by old-time bluegrass band Hylo Brown and the Timberliners.
This great country rock number was written and recorded by Todd Snyder on his album "East Nashville". It tells the true story of a real life rock'n'roll tragic, "a runaway locomotive out of his one track mind."
Legend has it that The Old Crow Medicine Show were given the chorus of this song by Bob Dylan. They went on to finish off the verses and create this fabulous country classic, one of the highlights of their debut album, "The Old Crow Medicine Show".

Yeehaa... this is one of ours! Brother Tim drew up the dots and penned these magic words as a tribute to the pecadillos of living the rural life. Hoorah Hoorah for the Country Life, free from trouble and free from strife!!
Hot stuff... another one of ours! You gonna lava this song written by Brother Mick with fiddle melody invented by Brother Johnny. It's all about life in the country, by the sea, living in a fucking volcano no less. let's go there!
