Duckweed & Headpunch (Winters/Lane) A pair of tunes created during one of our Thursday night practices. Johnny had Duckweed growing in his new garden pond and the day before Tim had been the victim of a drive-by assault.
Girl behind the Bar (Lane) An Irish-style jig dedicated to all those bar ladies that have served us so well over the years.
Tonight I'm Gonna Dance with You (Lane) Cajun flavoured dance tune to encourage all left-footed dance-cowards.
Country Life (Lane) One of Brother Tim's older, sillier tunes with a great rural aroma to it.
Bottle of Tequila and a Bad Case of the Blues (Lane) If ever we get the blues by the case load we make sure we wash it away with a bottle of tequila and a good blow on the harmonica.
Milperra Massacre (Crome) Journey back to 1984 when Australia motorcycle gangs really knew how to settle territorial disputes. This is a true fucking story remember.
20 Years Ago (Crome) A bit of a bittersweet, wistful little tune that might just remind some of those leisurely summer days when they didn't give a shit about the future or fuck all.
Busted with the Green (Crome) Oh no, not another true story! Yes indeed, but at least it has a relatively happy ending.
New Romance (Lane) Lead vocals by Johnny, mournful mouth harp and mandolin by Mick, word and music by Tim. A song about what you do if you have the blues and can't get hold of a bottle of tequila.
Volcano (Crome) There's a place tucked away in the rainforests of northern NSW that really is very close to being paradise, even though it is slap bang in the crater of a giant volcano.
1549 (Lane) A medieval style tune orginally written as part of a dramatic commemoration of Ketts Rebellion in Norwich in... you guessed it - 1549.
Blackheart's Dance (Lane) Prog rock blast about a place you really don't want to go to.

Ten of the 12 songs and tunes on the album were recorded in the course of one day in the top function room at the Hog in Armour pub in Norwich, Norfolk UK. The recording engineer was Paul Keeler and we enlisted bass player Paddy Shaw and Drummer Gary Wortley for the ocassion, although we regularly perform all the songs as a trio without the rhythm section at all. The other two songs, Country Life and Volcano, were recorded in Brother Tim's dining room one day during the summer of 2007.
